Built by Performers, for Performers

OvationCRM grew out of a simple frustration: the business tools available to performers were built for someone else. So we built our own.

“Every performer deserves to run their business like a professional.”

We started as Kringle Tracker — a simple tool for Santa performers to manage their holiday bookings. It worked, people loved it, and it grew. Other performers started asking: “Does this work for magicians? For speakers? For musicians?”

The answer is OvationCRM. We took everything that made Kringle Tracker trusted by hundreds of performers and built a real platform around it — one that works for every kind of entertainer, every season of the year.

Our Values

🎭

Performer-First

Every feature is designed around how entertainers actually book, perform, and grow their business — not how a generic SaaS company thinks they do.

🔍

Radical Simplicity

We believe the best software gets out of your way. OvationCRM is powerful where it needs to be and simple everywhere else.

🤝

Real Support

When you have a question, a real person answers it. We're not hiding behind chatbots or ticket queues.

🔒

Trust & Transparency

No surprise pricing changes. No hidden fees. No gotchas. We communicate proactively — even when it's hard news.

Our Journey

  1. 2000–2011

    On the road (and overwhelmed)

I was performing magic full-time—and spending way too many late nights juggling spreadsheets, emails, and sticky-note systems just to keep bookings straight.

  2. 2011

    The spark

I had the thought that wouldn’t go away: there has to be a better way. Something built for performers—not generic business software.

  3. 2011–2019

    Back-burner idea

The idea stayed in the background while I kept performing and kept managing the hard way. I knew the problem was real—I just hadn’t built the solution yet.

  4. 2019

Tried to make a general CRM fit

I gave tools like 17Hats a shot. They helped… but they still weren’t built for how entertainers actually book, schedule, and communicate.

  5. 2021

    Heard the same pain everywhere

As I talked with more Christmas performers, it clicked: this wasn’t just my problem. Santas, Mrs. Claus performers, and entertainers across the board were fighting the same admin chaos.

  6. 2022 (Jan)

    Kringle Tracker begins

I bought kringletracker.com and started building—focused on one mission: help Christmas performers spend less time on admin and more time creating magical memories.

  7. 2022 (Mar)

    First public debut

Kringle Tracker made its first appearance at the International Santa Conference in Atlanta, GA. Real conversations with real performers shaped what we built next.

  8. 2022 (Jul 25)

    Official launch

Kringle Tracker officially launched—purpose-built scheduling, invoicing, and client management for the holiday season.

  9. 2023 (Jan)

    First season in the bag

The first full season proved it: performers wanted something simpler, faster, and made specifically for their world.

  10. 2023–2025

    Growing with the community

Each season brought new users, new lessons, and steady improvements—guided by the performers using it every day.

  11. 2025

    The vision expands

It became clear we were building more than a Santa tool. The foundation could support every kind of performer—and eventually other service-based industries, too.
